Finland. If you want a full active adventure and a culturally unique Finnish experience then this week long holiday is for you. Full day husky tour, snowmobiling, ice fishing and snowshoe walk are all included. Quiet venue near the Russian border. Chalet cabin accommodation. Suitable for couple or families. Finland. This hotel based winter adventure with chalet type cabin accommodation will give you a nice easy introduction to winter activities. Stunning location by the lakeshore with good facilities. Activities include snowmobiling, husky sledging, Reindeer farm visit, and trying to learn cross-country skiing and snowshoe walking. Jan to mid-April, 7 days / 6 nights £1195 adults plus flights, reduction for children.
Finland. This hotel based winter adventure is slightly more active than the Jerisjarvi Adventure. Good range of activities, Reindeer farm visit, riding on snowmobile, trying to learn cross-country skiing, time husky sledging, with time-out for additional options such as visiting a snow village or even downhill skiing. Popular hotel bar. Dec to April, 7 days / 6 nights, £1075 adults excluding flights, reduction for children.
Finland. Based at the Harrinivia holiday centre you can select from a superb range of all the best winter activities; Reindeer safari, snowmobiling, husky sledding, ice fishing, XC skiing, snowshoe hiking and horse riding. Two separate programmes - Nov to Dec and Jan to April. You select the activities you wish to enjoy and how long you stay. Hotel accommodation £80 per adult sharing, reduction for children.
Gain a wilderness experience in the wilderness of Swedish Lapland. On this adventure you will be based in simple wilderness cabins - no running water here but traditional saunas. H usky safaris can be mixed with snowmobiling, XC skiing, snowshoeing, igloo building and a visit to a reindeer farm. Just book for as many days and activities as you wish. Finland. Do you like walking? Do you like dogs? Do you like snow? Then this could be your ideal winter break. You need to reasonably energetic - but it will be well worth the effort travelling through the stunning scenery of the Oulanka National Park. Friendly huskies help by pulling the luggage sledges (pulkas) leaving you to snowshoe without a heavy rucksack. 8 days. Feb and March. £875 per person.
Sweden. If you have had some cross-country skiing experience and you want to experience the trip of a lifetime then read on. This adventure travels through the amazing mountain passes of northern Lapland. You need to be fit but the friendly huskies pull most of the luggage (and the odd skier!) leaving you free to ski alongside without a heavy pack. 8 days. 15 to 22 March and 5 to 12 April. £975 plus flights.
Norway. An ideal adventure if you are fit and experienced enough to ski 'off track' and want to experience places very few people have ever have the privilege to see. You travel into the mountain pulling a sledge (pulka) with the help of a friendly husky - and we know who will be pulling the hardest!
