Dog Sledding

Enjoy an exciting two day wilderness sledding adventure.    Travel between different simple cabins or have days  trips out from your base cabin with the huskies.  Suitable for families.  Minimum of two persons.   You choose your departure date - call and tell us when you want to go!!  Mid November to April.  Full board, 4 days & 3 nights, 2 days dogsledding, £595 per person plus flights.

Travel through forests draped in snow in the remote Swedish Mountains with wonderful opportunities to see the Northern Lights during the dark polar nights.  Overnight in simple cabins.  Days may be short but the huts will be cosy.  Dec to Feb.  8 days, up to 6 days with your dog team: £1195 plus flights.

Abisko National Park is a unique area.  Apart from the sunning scenery, it is the driest and sunniest place in northern Sweden due to its special micro-climate, shielded on all sides by mountains. This is a great introduction to dog sledding in the mountains - areas only previously accessible by mountaineers and fit back-country skiers.  Suitable for fit beginners.  6 days, 4 days with dogs, £895 excluding flights

Mirror image of the Kings Trail Expedition North but runs South from Abisko National Park to Nikkaulokta through the Tjaktjapass.  This is a great adventure and includes snowmobile support for safety and to allow you to take as much spare clothing as you need.  One date only, so book early - 1st to 7th March 2009.  7 days, 5 days with your husky team, £1350 excluding flights.

Run for 2 persons or more upon request, this trip offers a great short break holiday which will fully prepare you to take on a longer even more challenging adventure next time.  Great introduction for those who wish to learn and have a challenge as part of their holiday adventure.  Available Dec to Apr, 5 days, 3 days with your dog team, £1045 excluding flights.  2 nights in lodge, 2 in tent or mountain cabin.

This trip offers you the chance to have a real adventure, crossing Jamtland with your own team of dogs.  Leaving your comfortable lodge base you will travel through the vast mountain area staying overnight in tents or simple cabins.  Passing mountains rising to 1743m (almost 6000ft) this is a true 'A to B' expedition.  Late March and April.  8 days, 6 days on the tour: £1535 plus flights.

An ideal holiday for someone who would like to try out wilderness dog sledding.  Based mainly in a comfortable lodge with day trips to gain confidence and experience, the adventure ends with an overnight trip to a mountain cabin (or even tent in good weather).  6 days, 4 days with your team of dogs.  Dec to April.  Upon request for 2 or more persons.   £1235 plus flights.
